Jeffrey Shafto, Principal Attorney at Law

I’ve specialized in bankruptcy law, contract disputes, and other areas of civil litigation for over 10 years. I provide compassionate, intelligent, and thorough representation for even your most complex legal issues. My rates are fair and I pride myself on finding the smoothest route to the best course of action for your case.

I spent the early part of my career working in the juvenile justice system, and have over 10 years of experience in contract litigation, business formation, and landlord/tenant matters, providing diligent representation for all my clients.

When you call my office, you deal with me personally and an initial consultation costs you nothing. Call 207.619.4006 or visit the contact page to schedule an in-person, or phone appointment using the available contact form.

If you have pressing legal concerns, I hope my practice area pages will answer your questions. Additionally, if you’re interested in representing yourself, be sure to ask me about ‘limited representation’ options.

I was born in Calais, Maine, and graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn. Maine is my home and I find great satisfaction in serving the people of this state. In my leisure time, I enjoy being outdoors, playing basketball, skiing, and spending time with my family.
